In my practice, creating images in series allows me to observe the emergence of signals of relationship and interconnectedness. In the series "Belonging," I restrict myself to a minimal image-making vocabulary that echoes the archetypal human experience of navigating by the stars. Through the application of gold leaf, I invite sources of light, especially the sun itself, to lend its voice to the expression of these images—a star talking about stars. Each piece, shown as part of a collection of voices in conversation, is sold individually to increase accessibility, an important aspect of my work. This approach highlights both the collective harmony and the unique individuality of each artwork.
