<span class="p-large">After the first performance at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza, Mitá & Mitá was selected for inclusion in “Desbordarte,” a program dedicated to performance arts and experimental theater.</span>

This iteration of the 25-minute performance, performed live at the auditorium of Fundación Canal in Madrid, allowed Ortiz to adapt the project to a live theater audience and explore future settings for the project. Ortiz hand-painted a backdrop point-by-point and line-by-line for the space. During the performance she painted the body of the dancer/choreographer Eva Simón, whose movement morphed with and animated the point-and-line constellation painted on the backdrop and on her body. The performance was accompanied by original music from Jesús Prieto "Pitti", adding further dimension to the piece. Connecting with the energy of the live audience, the artists allowed for elements of improvisation to enter into their performance.
